The MAP system
Our system, known as the MAP (M for Minerals, A for Animals, P for Plants), operates through a structured framework of levels and columns. The MAP not only organizes the Materia Medica and various remedies logically onto a single grid but also simplifies case taking. Regardless of your preferred case-taking approach, the MAP helps you match your patient’s essence with the corresponding levels, enabling you to select the right remedy.
Utilizing the MAP for case taking enables efficient organization of patient information across various levels and columns, leading to accurate conclusions.
The MAP system explores the grid of the periodic table to determine the levels and the columns.
More about the MAP system
“The MAP utilizes the periodic table’s grid, comprising 7 rows and 18 columns, as a framework for categorizing animals, plants, nosodes, and imponderables. In Homoeopathy, Jan Scholten pioneered the concept that the periodic table represents a connected and progressive system. We discovered thorugh our 2 decades of clinical experience that animals and plants can also be reprensnted on this grid ina similar manner. We further proposed that the plants on a certain row can be compared and are similar to the minerals and anaimls in that row and colum . In this model, patients and remedies are mapped onto the grid, with the rows representing 7 levels of human development and the columns denoting 18 aspects of daily human behavior and interaction.”
The essence of the MAP system
What do the rubrics and symptoms in our Materia medica signify?
The Materia Medica’s rubrics and symptoms reveal our innermost desires, dreams, and emotional states, highlighting what we seek in life. They encompass our aspirations, influences, contributions, and the discontentment we feel when our desires are unfulfilled. These insights help us understand where we feel ‘stuck,’ reflecting our life’s purpose. All of these tells us what levels does the person dwells rather with this information, we categorize individuals into 7 levels of human development, each representing distinct life aspirations.
Thus, the rubrics are not just symptoms; they are a mirror to our emotions, delusions, and life reflections.
Highlights of our MAP and our system
- The Map consists of a 7-level grid with 18 columns.”
- This system categorizes human personalities and homeopathic remedies into 7 archetypal levels.
- Within each level, there are 18 distinct columns, representing various attitudes related to the archetype
- The 7-level, 18-column grid of the periodic table serves as the foundational matrix for categorizing all universal entities.
- Remedies from all three kingdoms have been represented on this grid with a certain number sequence (Code).
- The Joshis have developed a case-taking method that maps a person’s personality onto this grid, generating a unique numerical code.
- Thus, a remedy is obtained by matching the patient’s code to the corresponding remedy code.
- The three kingdoms are actually linked and a new relationship between the three has emerged with this approach.
- In the MAP system, a single code representing a person’s personality can correspond to three different homeopathic remedies, one from each of the mineral, animal, and plant kingdoms. Depending on the individual’s state at a particular time, any one of these remedies may be appropriate for use.
There is a Mineral, Animal & Plant analogue for every individual human pattern.
